Maps, Rush, and Fin, and more…

My photography has gone through many emotional and stylistic changes throughout the years. But these images are some of my favorites from all my photographic work, and have stood the test of time throughout those years. They speak to loneliness, strength, beauty, harshness. Even being a trained photographer, as well as having the majority of my artistic career in photography, it still challenges me, almost daily. There’s a balance between career and creation, and I find that balance to be the hardest with this medium. As such, these specific images represent my best attempts at finding that balance, as well as maintaining captivating images at any scale. The first 3 images were taken in Iceland, during a photographic exploration of the island, amidst a personal exploration of life and artistic experience. The next set of images were taken in various places I’ve lived that leave me with nostalgic memories. Prints available by request.
